The Selling Process

This begins with relevant market research and an assessment of your home to establish a price that realistically reflects its marketable value, in conjunction with its value to you, and your selling timetable.

Conditions of sale are established and the property is then placed on the market and promoted to potential buyers. It is my job to assist you during this process, and to provide the necessary consultation and advice regarding offers and counter offers through to the completion of the sale.

Preparing Your Home for Sale

I provide a pamphlet that provides an overview of the buying and selling process, repair and cleaning checklist, preparation of your home for the buyer, possible work orders, suggestions for agent-showing appointments, an inventory checklist, change of address reminders, and answers to often-asked questions.

Moving Tips

This is an equally extensive pamphlet which considers and includes a checklist, packing tips, change of address reminders, the transport of house plants and pets, moving companies, environmental issues, and an arrival-survival checklist.

Personal Service Guarantee

This is an assurance statement from Windermere Real Estate/Bainbridge Island and myself assuring that I will personally handle your listing. Marketing your home will not be turned over to an unlicensed assistant who is legally limited to clerical responsibilities.

Property Disclosure Statement

Within five business days of a written and fully signed Purchase and Sale Agreement, the seller must complete and make available to the purchaser a Real Property Transfer Disclosure Statement consisting of 60 items that have been deemed universally relevant to the fair transfer of real property. I will be available to answer questions you may have regarding this document, and give you appropriate interpretation, if necessary.
